My book store is now on-line!!! You can browse through the selections and if you decide to buy something, I'll get a little cash for commission but you still pay the exact same price you would if buying directly from Amazon.com. Sorry for going commercial on you guys but hey...we all gotta make a buck somehow! Enjoy.

Dave found has stock of another great BEAM product. Here's a clip of his e-mail...

You want small? We got small. Haven't posted them to the website YET, but we just got in a one-time shipment of tiny 1/8" square encapsulated solarcells (actually photodiodes). Put out about 0.45V each, at 1.4 mA in noon-day winter sunlight (open circuit voltage / short circuit current). $0.50/ea, or 10/$4. They are the same ones as you see on the original "BEAMant" images on the website. You could use 80 of them and be legal for solarroller racing, and generate 36V (80*0.45V/ea)! They're easy to mount, as they're encased in clear epoxy with little leads coming out of each end (0.2" spacing).
Will be doing some data collection on them under incandescent & halogen lighting, and putting the data up online. Hope to have them on the pricelist in the next day or two. If you want them before, just order them thru the "comments" section of the orderform.

Hopefully they will be on the Solarbotics webpage soon so we can take a look.

Solarbotics has sold out of the Photopopper 4.2b kits. Due to manufacturing delays, they won't have anymore stock until later this week.
